Yash read law at Aberystwyth University before completing his Law Practitioner’s Vocational Course organised by the University of Mauritius and the Council of Vocational Legal Education examinations in 2021. After serving pupillage with us throughout 2022, Yash joined the Chambers upon being called to the Mauritian Bar in January 2023.
Whilst his areas of practice include civil, criminal, family and child related matters, Yash frequently undertakes briefs pertaining to building and planning litigation in Mauritius.
Beyond his judicial commitments, Yash also appears before the Employment Relations Tribunal and the Environment and Land Use Appeal Tribunal. In addition, Yash keeps an advisory practice, providing legal advice to companies, finding business-driven and efficient solutions as part of dispute resolution, most notably in relation to labour disputes.
Yash is also a part-time lecturer at the Open University of Mauritius.
