After graduating from the University of Mauritius in 2021, Daveen successfully topped the Law Practitioners Vocational Course held by the Council for Vocational and Legal Education in 2023. He was then subsequently called to the Mauritian Bar in 2025.

Daveen completed part of his pupillage within the Chambers of Narghis Bundhun SC and joined as a tenant upon being called to the Bar. His practice focuses mainly on litigation and dispute resolution in both civil and criminal fields, whilst also undertaking briefs pertaining to employment and family law. He also regularly advises clients in corporate and compliancematters.
