Martine read law at the University of Mauritius, before completing the Law Practitioners Vocational Course held by the Council for Vocational and Legal Education. Martine was called to the Bar of Mauritius in January 2026 and later joined the Chambers of NarghisBundhun SC after having completed part of her pupillage with the set.

Her practice extends to both civil and criminal matters, as well as matters pertaining to family and employment.
