With over three decades of experience spanning private practice, banking, corporate law, and compliance, Feerdaus bring a unique blend of legal expertise and regulatory engagement to the Chambers of Narghis Bundhun SC. Having undertaken her studies at the Université de la Réunion where she obtained her Licence et Maitrise en Droit as well as graduating from the Institut du Droit Des Affaires  of  Universié de Aix-Marseille III (France) with a Diplôme d’Etudes Supérieures Spécialisées (DESS) in International Business Law &  Diplome de Juriste Conseil des Entreprises  (D.J.C.E Option Internationale), Feerdaus was admitted to practice at the Mauritian Bar in 1992.  

In her previous role as Senior In-House Lawyer & Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) at the Mauritius Commercial Bank Limited (MCB) which she held between 2015 and 2025, Mrs Bundhun was tasked with providing advice on aspects of banking, employment and other commercial matters as well as developing internal Anti-Money Laundering and Combatting the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) Policies.  

Prior to taking employment with the MCB, Feerdaus was the Head of Legal, Recovery and Company Secretary of the Banque des Mascareignes (a subsidiary of the French Group BPCE) between 2008 and 2015. In that role, she was tasked with drafting financing and security document, providing general advice to the bank and representing the bank in recovery cases.  

In her career at the private Bar between 1992 and 2006, Mrs Bundhun was a tenant at the Chambers of Sir Hamid Moollan KC where she undertook cases on behalf of major regulatory institutions.  

Company Law Advisory Committee (2005-present) – Advising the Registrar of Companies and the Ministry of Finance on legislative reforms.
